Under the leadership of Pastor Bill & Amanda Woodruff, our student ministries (junior & high school) meet weekly for teaching, worship, and small group fellowships. They regularly meet for fun activities, community projects, youth camp, Christian concerts, and a lot more.
Life University (Wednesdays)
Life University is our mid-week discipleship training ministry. Each quarter semester, several new elective classes are offered for adults beginning at 6:30 pm. The LU cafeteria dinner meets at 5:30 pm in the gym. A meal is provided at a nominal cost.

Senior Adults :
Our senior adults and widows/widowers meet regularly for Bible studies, dinner, breakfast, exciting trips, and a lot more!
Young Adults:
Opportunities throughout the month are provided for ages 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Young Adults meet regularly for home fellowships, Bible studies, retreats, trips, etc.
Men & Women :
We offer regular opportunities for the men and women to meet together for fellowship, meals, as well as ministry projects.
Music:
Several opportunities are available through the music ministry for group ensembles, special choirs, soloists, instrumentalists, as well as Easter and Christmas musicals.
Gospel Concerts :
A ministry that hosts nationally recognized Southern Gospel singing groups on the first Saturday of every month.
Christian Counseling & Recovery Ministry :
A professional Christian counseling ministry is available by appointment. Also, a weekly small group ministry based upon a biblical approach to the twelve-step addiction recovery model.
Adopt-A Night Homeless Ministry :
Bethalto Church of God is a partner with the House of Hope Ministry (Community Hope Center) in their outreach ministry to the homeless. On the second Thursday of each month, volunteers from the church assist in providing dinner and fellowship to the overnight guests at the House of Hope.
Ask the Nurse :
Ask the Nurse is a ministry is to provide a resource to our congregation concerning questions about medications, research and help in explaining illnesses, and to educate families about medical care alternatives.
Athletics :
Opportunities for fun and fellowship are available throughout the year as teams are organized for softball, volleyball, bowling, basketball, and golf.
Missions :
The church financially supports several local and world missions projects through the D3 (Daily Dollar Difference) missions offerings as well as through the Church of God World Missions.
P.I.T. Crews:
Praying Intercessors Teams (P.I.T. Crews) provide a consistent prayer covering to every volunteer and ministry department of the church.
SCRIP Cards:
A percentage of your purchase is returned back to BCOG when a SCRIP card is used. SCRIP cards are available for hundreds of local and national businesses, restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores. They can be purchased at the information desk following the Sunday service.
